The first dimension of this research focuses on the teacher trainee students who are studying on the 英語科教育法 I and II course in Toyo Eiwa University. The second focuses on classes in which there is a dual focus on both international relations and English for academic purposes, specifically students’ use of causation in the application genre in report and presentation writing.
